A City on a Hill

Jesus said, “A city on a hill cannot be hidden” — the church is meant to be visible, not invisible, to the world around it.

Our lives, our communities, and our worship are meant to stand out as signs of God’s kingdom in the midst of ordinary life.

A city on a hill does not glow by its own strength; it reflects the light of the sun — so we reflect the Son of God.

The world is not looking for a perfect church, but for an honest one — one that loves, serves, and forgives as Christ did.

May our communities be cities of refuge and light that the weary and lost can see from a great distance.
